A closed kitchen opened onto the dining room, with seats at the peninsula.
White shaker cabinetry runs the length of the room under a tiled backsplash, with walnut open shelving at the window and black hardware throughout. The peninsula seats two and looks straight through to the dining table — the sightline the old layout did not have.
