In Their Own Words.

PHS is the most thorough construction company we have worked with , from start to finish. Our project entailed a complete renovation of a bathroom and laundry area. All details were documented along the way. Staff were proactive when faced with a problem, in a very timely fashion. Thanks to the team for all of their hard work!

PHS completed the renovation for our living room and basement. They delivered quality service, friendly workers and good communication. Nothing to complain about and will definitely find them again for furture renovations!

Our bathroom renovation turned out how we envisioned it thanks to the work of the Designer and Build crew from PHS. The crew was professional, respectful, and easy to work with throughout the project. The workmanship was good, and we're pleased with how things turned out.

Communication could have been better. More consistent updates on scheduling and progress would have made the experience smoother. I would also recommend looking over the work regularly with the project foreman as the project progresses to ensure everything is built and installed to satisfaction. Catching small details with the team early will save time and help eleminate change orders later on.

Overall, we're satisfied with the finished bathroom and appreciate the professionalism of the team at PHS.

PHS Testimonial

Last fall we decided to renovate our main bathroom. Initially we thought it would mainly be a “plumbing renovation” and decided to go with a plumbing company who would provide us with a carpenter to do all the other work, including what we thought was a partial replacement of the subfloor. When it came time to remove all the fixtures and the subfloor to do the plumbing rough in, we discovered there had been a fire of some sort the floor/wall beneath the bathroom. The joist work was also questionable. The plumbing company stated they did not want to proceed, as they felt the floor was not structurally sound, and their carpenter said it was beyond his scope. Here we were stuck with a gutted bathroom, half a floor and the plumbing company declining to move forward, as this was beyond their scope, which we completely understood. Needless to say it was very upsetting for us, as we had no idea how to proceed. We ended up contacting PHS and spoke with Chase and explained the situation to him. Chase came out later in the day.
Chase looked at the bathroom and told us they would be able to help us. Chase explained how PHS would proceed, regarding permits and involving a structural engineer. He made arrangements with a structural engineer that they use for projects. The engineer came out within a week to survey the problem. This process not only gave us hope, but peace of mind as well - to know that they would “make it right”. Once PHS took over, communication was great - our questions were always answered right away and we were always kept updated. PHS also coordinated with the plumbing company we started with to coordinate their work. Jon the carpenter who worked on our bathroom was great and very easy to communicate with. We are so glad we contacted PHS and they were able to give us a lovely bathroom at the end of the day.

Great management!! Really down to earth I highly refer them if you have a big project. A+ in my books

PHS completed two bathroom renovations for us on a very tight timeline. Although the project was completed one week later than planned due to circumstances outside their control, the work remained on budget. The quality of craftsmanship was excellent, and Mark and his team demonstrated consistent professionalism from start to finish. We’re very pleased with the results and will contact PHS for future renovation projects.

The team af PHS is great. Very knowledgeable and use the best tech available for design and quoting. Always quick and responsive. Finished products look great. Looking for reno they are one of the best out there!

PHS renovation not only met all my needs but they are great and loving people and made communication a pleasure

We had an excellent experience working with PHS Renovation, on a bathroom reno completed prior to selling our house in Winnipeg. From start to finish, the team was professional efficient, and incredibly detail-oriented. Communication was clear throughout the entire process, and the quality of workmanship exceeded our expectations. The renovation significantly increased the our sale. I Highly recomend them!

Prairie Home Specialists is a solid, reliable team that takes real pride in their work. Tamarack Drafting & Design has had a great year working alongside them, and we’ve always appreciated their communication, professionalism, and the care they put into every project.

We are very pleased with the work done by PHS. They were of great help and they did an excellent job. Everything was taken care of. The project looks great and we were happy with the process. Highly recommend PHS for your project.

I would like to start off by thanking the PHS team for a great job they did on the renovations to my house. These guys completely changed my kitchen (took down the wall from living room to kitchen to have open concept) and main washroom. Also replaced all my flooring through-out the house and installed ceiling speakers in the living room. They had great ideas to what would look nice, pretty much had answers to everything i asked, was super easy to deal with. Overall great experience i would highly recommend them to anyone.

I recently hired PHS Renovation Corp. to renovate my main floor, bathroom, and mudroom, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Their attention to detail is exceptional, and I felt supported throughout the entire process thanks to their constant feedback.

What I appreciated most was their transparency regarding costs; the pricing was very fair, and they always consulted me before proceeding with any necessary change orders. Even after the project was finished, they remained highly responsive. Any minor issues I found were fixed promptly and without any pushback. It’s rare to find a team this reliable and professional!

I’ve worked with dozens of contractors over the last number of years. No one has done it quite like PHS. Quality of construction is one thing but it’s another to work with an honest, transparent, organized and non-flaky contractor. PHS is now my go to, trusted contractor for small jobs or large jobs and to this date, no one does it better. Communication, punctuality, everything. I can trust them with a job and they execute with ease (which is never the case with other contractors). Their first project for me was a couple years ago and I’ve continued to use them to this date.

We’ve had nothing but excellent experiences with PHS Renovations. Their work is high quality, detailed, and done with care from start to finish. We’ve used them personally on our own projects and continue to be impressed every time.

As real estate professionals, we don’t recommend just anyone to our clients—but PHS is a company we trust completely. They’re reliable, communicative, and consistently deliver results that exceed expectations. If you’re looking for a renovation company that truly takes pride in their work, PHS Renovation is an easy recommendation.

The Penner Team

PHS Renovations shows a strong commitment to craftsmanship and keeping customers happy. They are a dependable choice for homeowners in Winnipeg looking to improve their space.

Mark at PHS Renovations is the kind of contractor you want in your corner. I’ve consulted him multiple times for advice on different renovation projects, and he’s consistently been responsive, knowledgeable, and straight-up honest about what matters most. He points out the details people often miss, helps you think through the right order of operations, and gives practical guidance that can save time and prevent expensive mistakes. If you’re looking for a renovation company that clearly knows their stuff and approaches projects the right way, I’d confidently recommend PHS Renovations.

PHS helped seal our garage with drywall. Very pleased with the results. Asked us if we wanted taping and mudding. We have not plans to do anything else.

We are planning another deck project with them for summer 2026. Highly suggest them for any scale of project.

From the very first meeting, this company set a high standard. Hope was our designer, and the presentation of our plans was incredibly well thought out, detailed and this is how we were presented them. It's clear a lot of care went into the process, which makes us feel confident moving forward. We’re about to start our Winnipeg kitchen renovation and are excited to see the final result.

Not only did they do the job quickly, it was done beautifully. Our roof was reshingled almost quicker than it was to sing our national anthem. Would recommend 10/10!

Best experience ever!! They made my dream kitchen, a reality. If you can think it, they can do it!!!!!! Professional and perfect from start to finish.

We are extremely grateful to the PHS team for transforming our new home into a warm, comfortable, and truly livable space. From design to construction, every step was handled efficiently and professionally.

Our project foreman was highly experienced, attentive to every detail, and made thoughtful adjustments throughout the process. The final result perfectly matched what we had envisioned for our new home, with every detail so well executed that it stands up to close scrutiny.

We would also like to mention that the team’s patience and smooth communication made the entire experience completely stress-free.

Thank you to the entire PHS team for creating our ideal home—we look forward to working with you again in the future!

So much better than any other contractor I have worked with.

We hired PHS Renovations to do a complete renovation to our family room as well as additional painting around our home. The quality of the work was outstanding. They corrected all the mistakes made by a previous renovator. Not only is our new space cozy, warm and safe....it is beautiful!! Thanks PHS for making us love our space again!

PHS Renovations Corp was a reliable partner throughout our intensive project, which was from the ground up. We could rely on their expertise and their ability to get the job done, and to do it well. They responded ably to all of our inquiries in a timely manner. We would gladly recommend PHS Renovations Corp and be happy to work with them in the future.

PHS was fantastic to work with for our total Kitchen renovation, the PHS team kept us informed once they were onsite and communicated as they moved along with the project. We did experience a few hiccups which delayed the kitchen project, but we were kept up to date and informed as soon as they realized the error, it was corrected and new product was ordered. The magic was in the finishing details that went above a beyond to make our new kitchen perfect. Any questions or concerns were address on the spot and Graham was fantastic in making this kitchen work for for me! I can not tell you how impressed I am with this company from the Quote, to the design process, demolition and making the final product perfect, no renovation project is perfect but it is how you make it right in the end that count's. Thank you to the whole PHS team for giving me this beautiful kitchen to work and play in!!!

Exceptional Service From quoting and designing to workmanship and over site, a stress feel and easy experience. This company cares and it shows. From communication, translation of you wants, needs and budget, they help you bring you vision to life. They were able to start sooner than expected, finished on time and on budget. The job was done properly, and their own quality control ensures it’s done properly with zero stress. I had an outstanding experience with the owner that quoted the job and understood the vision. The designer, rapidly picked the most appropriate material and assisted being the vision to life and on budget. The true genius of the design became even more apparent as the project developed. Every job needs a foreman, to keep it on track, done properly and ensure quality. I had the opportunity to work with one of the best foreman I have ever met. Excellent communication, dedication to a job well done, and a quality control, that left me with nothing to worry about. In a word- this company and the incredible staff took something that is normally very stressful, and made it easy. They have my strongest recommendation, and I will 100% be using them again.

I had John out today to replace a few doors in our finished basement. Did an amazing job, such professionalism, quality workmanship, and a smooth installation process. Finished doors look fantastic. Thank you PHS your expertise is so appreciated!!

First off, Chase, Mark, Brandon and everyone else we met throughout our project... You have our sincerest thanks.

PHS renovations finished our basement and WOW! We are so happy with how everything turned out, and i mean everything. From the day the team showed up to the end of the project, everyone was professional, friendly, and cared about us and our space. The team was extremely easy to work, answering all questions and addressing all concerns we had in a timely manner. If you have spent the time to read this review and have a project that you are looking to hire a company to complete, I highly recommend you give PHS a call.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with the team from PHS Renovations on several renovation projects, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From the initial consultation with Chase, where we discussed our vision and plans, to working alongside Mark and the construction crew, the entire experience was seamless and professional. Their pricing is clear and upfront, making budgeting straightforward, and they handled our indecision with patience, accommodating changes effortlessly. Each project has resulted in a stunning, beautifully finished product. We couldn’t ask for a better experience—highly recommended!

I had an amazing experience working with PHS Renovation Corp! Their team was professional, detail-oriented, and delivered high-quality work on time. From start to finish, communication was smooth, and they made sure every aspect of the project was done right. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and skilled contractors. Looking forward to working with them again in the future!

This renovation needed to happen fast and it did! PHS moved quickly for us to get our new house ready for us to move in with my senior mom. We are so, so, so happy with the beautiful reno that they did!

Just recently moved into a new home and wanted some renovations done to make some of long-standing tech goals a reality. To be honest, I was hesitant about hiring a contractor thinking that they might not do the renos in a way that I wanted. But seeing the results, I have no regrets picking these guys.

Chase came by and did a quick runup of what I wanted, then spent like 6 hours with me across 2 nights working on a quote and figuring out how to do what I wanted within my budget. Super accommodating too; guy managed to get my house interior painted with like a weekend out of me moving in and restructured the entire quote after I got hit with some unexpected bills.

After that, Stephanie came by with Brandon to do onsite planning, working out more specifics on how things were going to get done. Turns out a lot more material planning goes into this than I thought and I was happy to have them carry the lions share of the work on that.

After everything, I'm now a happy nerd with 14 Cat6 ethernet runs all over his house leading to a new centralized server in the basement; lines were beautifully run by Brandon with no kinking or undue pressure on the cables. Lines run to rooms, outside for cameras, and the ceiling for WiFi. They also did work to upgrade my electric panel to support my rack; can't speak too much on that since I'm not an electrician, but it definitely works. Aside from the tech stuff and the paint work around the house, they replaced all the lights with LEDs and even managed to fix my shower stall from leaking (I was just about ready to get it replaced, but Graham came back 3 seperate times to try and fix it and saved me a ton on that).

Overall I'm very satisfied with the work and will be hiring these guys again for future renovations.

We had so many things done over the last couple years I don’t know where to start. Floors, counters, cabinets, windows and doors, painting, the fence, the tub and so on. The work done was always great and we loved the choices of finishes available. The service has been outstanding though. We had a little issue with our sink and they immediately sent someone to come and fix it, and when I reached out to ask a question about my door having some trouble Chase was all over it to get someone sent. Great experience with Prairie Home renovations and will recommend them to family and friends for future projects.

First off, I’d like to thank Chase, Mark, Brandon & team for changing my negative perception of building contractors. They proved it can be done ethically and with work to stand by. We underwent an extensive completion of our roughed basement this past summer. Numerous trips to our location prior to start of project, complete with 3D virtual walkthrough and were communicating extensively throughout the entire project. Attention to detail and professionalism is very evident as they advised on numerous required changes and confirmed of our approval. I would say we were challenging clients in the sense that we had a vision but no idea how to make it come to life. PHS MADE THIS HAPPEN FOR US! I’m very pleased to say I’m enjoying our finished basement daily and look forward to having them complete 5 more of our home based projects. I’ll be referring them to anyone I know as they align with doing things the right way Vs. the cheapest way. Thank you PHS TEAM, be proud of yourselves.

Completed work as per estimate with high quality craftsmanship. Staff was friendly, professional, and responsive. Work was to redo trims around the basement; looks perfect!

From start to finish absolutely awesome experience. You get what you pay for and i would/will use them again. Already recommend to friends and co-workers. Customer service before, during and after 100% top notch. Everyone I dealt with was a pleasure from the trades people, office staff and management.

I'm going to start off by saying that we are very happy with the final product of our ensuite renovation done by PHS, but the process of getting there could definitely have been better. We started talking with PHS in July of 2023 and gave our deposit. We had been talking with them over the next couple of months about what we wanted and how it would look. We were told the project would take roughly 4-6 weeks to complete. Demo started October 4, 2023 and the job was not completed until March 2024. Product was not ordered early enough so there were significant delays on crucial parts that really held everything up. Throughout the process there were reasonable cost increases for higher end things we wanted but also attempts to charge us extra for things they didn't do correctly (shelving in the linen closet and ordering the wrong size mirrors). We also had to review invoices very closely because there was PST randomly added as a way to "just cover base cost" of a product as well as change orders that weren't discussed with us ahead of time. Throughout the entire renovation there was almost always only 1 employee at our house. Granted that employee was fantastic, but the progress was very slow day to day as he was by himself.

8 months after the renovation was complete, one of the showers started making an awful noise and had minimal pressure. We reached out to PHS as we are not handy and knew there was a 2 year warranty. They directed us to clean out the showerhead prior to coming out as that could be the problem. We cleaned the showerhead (that had no dirt, debris, or build up on it) and the noise continued as well as minimal pressure. PHS sent out a plumber who had to remove the water saver component of the showerhead as it wasn't working with the water we had in the country. According to PHS, they are "not water experts" so they installed it as is and it wasn't their fault that the part wasn't compatible with our water and deemed the problem a "maintenance" issue and sent us an invoice for $283.

Though we are happy with our bathroom, we will not be hiring PHS for any work in the future nor would we recommend them to family or friends.

I cannot say enough good things about PHS Renovations! We had a custom shed built to match our house. The pricing was competitive, communication was wonderful and everyone was great to work with. The shed was completed on budget and withing the specified timeline. Chase, Mark and Stephanie were great to work with and the crew was wonderful! We will definitely be working with them again on future projects.

My wife and I bought a house that needed some work so we called Chase and got PHS to do a couple of the bigger projects. Half of them were done within a week of possession! There was constant communication and updates on the progress. Brandon did a lot of the work in the house and was super considerate with us living in the house while he was doing his work, going out of his way to make our experience great. We are extremely happy with the quality of the work and the place was left spotless. We would 100% use them again.

Very happy with PHS Renovations and our carpenter Matt. Good price and quality work on a reasonable timeline. We will definitely talk to them for our next project.

Had PHS do a complete kitchen reno, which included removing 2x load baring walls. The designer was fantastic and was able to limit down the vaste amount of options for us, understanding what our image was. The team kept the communication with us open, especially if there were any unexpected changes and explained any delays, even minimal. The staff were friendly, courteous of our space and understanding of the heart-aches with renoing a kitchen. The cherry on top was the price point for a custom kitchen, best in the city we were able to find. Would 100% recommend.

I recently hired Prairie Home Specialists for a few different home renovation projects, and I couldn't be happier with the results! From start to finish, their team was professional, efficient, and attentive to detail. The quality of their work exceeded my expectations, and the transformation of my home is stunning. I highly recommend PHS to anyone in need of renovation services.

Prairie Home Services is the only contractor I will deal with from now on. Over the years I have used many contractors to a lesser degree of success. Everyone from Mark down to trade’s people are totally professional.Everryone seems to have a terrific work ethic which in today’s world is not so common. Both projects were done in a timely, professional manner while staying on budget. One of the details I liiked was getting an itemized statement of all the work that was completed. I would have no problem with recommending this company for a renovation project. There is no one better.

Absolutely amazing team. They were clean, they were informative on products to use. They had a fantastic designer help us out. They were able to adapt to change requests. We will use them for our other projects again. Jeff the sales team member was incredible.

Very clean during our project. Attention to detail on the work. Ask for Jeff the sales guy. He was Fantastic!

Dealing with PHS was a great overall experience! Brock was so helpful and transparent with advising and providing estimates, and Brandon did a great job on all the work at my home, with great attention to detail to make sure I was happy with the work and provided me with some helpful advice as well. I will be contacting them again and would recommend PHS to anyone! Also costs were very reasonable for the work, no hidden costs. Thanks again PHS!

My experience contracting PHS Renovations for our deck refurbishment project was nothing short of outstanding. Given our past experiences with contractors,Ron and I had our apprehensions. However, Chase and Mark, with their commendable work ethic, put our fears to rest.

Their quotation was fair and competitive, but what truly set them apart was the level of trust they inspired in us. Their transparency, reliability, and open communication were refreshing and much appreciated.

I am incredibly satisfied with our decision to engage with PHS Renovations. Their team approach ensures that each stage of the process is managed by professionals specifically skilled for the task. The kindness and attentive listening skills displayed by their team only further enhanced our experience. We are delighted to have discovered PHS Renovations. So much so that we've already scheduled further landscaping and kitchen remodeling projects with them.

I am thrilled to have found a one-stop solution for all our renovation needs - a company I can trust and wholeheartedly recommend. Looking forward to our continued partnership with PHS Renovations!

Gail & Ron Cantor

We were hiring from out of province so naturally were pretty nervous about picking a renovation company. Chase was really easy to talk to and kept us up to date on everything. Communication was excellent.

I had a few concerns as the project went on and they were addressed quickly and creatively. We had the kitchen and bathroom updated and were very happy with the aesthetic and overall workmanship. The floors and baseboards are flawless. We had some problem solving with the wall we removed but they transitioned it beautifully.

We are so happy we went with Prairie home specialists. Would recommend them again. Thanks Chase and team

We used PHS for a large scale renovation on our property. They tackled it with professionalism and quality workmanship. And despite some unforeseen circumstances, they navigated it expertly, finding solutions and quickly implementing them. We appreciated their work so much, plus their dynamite personalities make it painless to go through a rigorous renovation.

Right from the first phone call through completion; dealing with PHS Renovations was a pleasure. Their rates are fair, their people are professional and the project was completed quickly and efficiently.

I would not hesitate to use PHS Renovations again in the future.

PHS was great to work with. They were courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. I was very impressed with their customer service. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for dependable and professional services.

Did a great job on my basement. Workers were friendly and professional. Job was done in a timely manner and within budget.

Great service, excellent delivery, sufficient pricing, easy to deal with and respectable. Brock was a pleasure to work with.

Very impressed with Mark and Chase. They were able to start and finish my project within one week. Their team removed all the floors and laid down the vinyl click floor along with painting the whole unit. Great price and fantastic work. Any logistical issues were talked through and agreed on very easily.

Overall very good job. Any hiccups or issues were resolved quickly. Very pleased with team, professional with high quality experience to our reno.

Very professional company and friendly people. They will get your job done in a timely matter and at a reasonable cost.

The PHS team is reliable and does a high quality job on any home renovations. They offer fair prices and are a solid group of guys. Would definitely recommend them.

We had a best experience with PHS, they were best professional very honest and understanding people. Workers and management both were very cooperative. Fast and very neat and clean people, best for any residential work.

I needed to get work done quickly. Chase came by the day after we spoke and a few days later was able to give me an estimate. I had a few concerns that Chase was able to quickly respond to. He was always prompt and professional. Would definitely recommend. Happy with the work that was done. Thank you!

I hired PHS for a renovation and the value was great. Price was fair and quality exceeded my expectations for the price. I would definitely hire them again.

After some bad experiences trying out some local handymen, and being also wary of the high price tag that comes with long time established companies, Prairie Homes has delivered a fine medium of professionalism and delivery of service for my renovation needs. Thanks guys.

Chase and his team deliver exceptional professionalism. Project came in on budget and according to discussed timelines. Their guarantees are worth exploring as it gave us confidence working with them.

Was looking for a renovation company I could trust for a big project. My concern was finding a company that would offer a fair price but provide good quality work. After talking with Chase, I could tell he really understood exactly the type of quality work I was looking for and the budget I had to work with. All I can say is that Chase met all my expectations. I am super happy with how the work turned out and how they managed to stay within my budget range. Also felt like I was kept in the loop the whole time and no big decision was made without my concent. Wish every company was this easy to work with. SUCH A RELIEF. Thank you!!
